How we use it and our legal bases

Under the GDPR and UK GDPR we rely on these legal bases:

  • Replying to enquiries and discovery-call requests: taking steps at your request before a contract, and our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries.
  • Assessing job applications: taking steps at your request before an employment contract, and our legitimate interest in recruiting.
  • Handling support requests: performing our contract with your organization, and our legitimate interest in supporting the systems we build.
  • Sending the newsletter: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
  • Keeping the site secure and free of spam: our legitimate interest in protecting our systems and users.

We do not sell your personal information, we do not use it for advertising, and we do not make decisions about you based solely on automated processing.

Email notifications

When you submit a form, we email a copy of your submission to our team so the right person can respond, and send you a confirmation email that summarizes what you sent. For job applications the confirmation does not include your resume file.

Where your data is stored and who processes it

Form submissions, including resumes, are stored in our MongoDB database. Our team works from India, so your data is accessed from India. We use service providers to host the site, run the database and send email. They process data only on our instructions.

  • Website hosting: Vercel Inc.
  • Database: MongoDB
  • Email delivery: Resend

International transfers

If you are in the European Economic Area, the UK or Australia, your data is transferred to Indiaand to the countries where our providers operate. Where the law requires it, we protect these transfers with safeguards such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses or the UK International Data Transfer Addendum.

How long we keep it

We keep personal data only as long as we need it for the purpose it was collected for, then delete it.

  • Contact and support requests: as long as we need them to respond and follow up on your request
  • Job applications and resumes: for the duration of the hiring process for the role you applied for
  • Newsletter: until you unsubscribe
